Project Ciovo
About the project
Project Ciovo is a planned hospitality development located on the southern coast of the island of Čiovo, Croatia. The site forms part of the Duboka Bay zone, designated for tourist use under the approved Urban Development Plan. The location benefits from direct proximity to the historic town of Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site situated 6 km to the north, and is approximately 30 km from Split and 5 km from Split International Airport.
The project area comprises approximately 8.97 hectares and is designated for hospitality development, including hotels, villas, and associated resort amenities such as pools, restaurants, bars, spa and wellness facilities, and sports and recreation areas. The masterplan provides for a total gross buildable area of 34,841 sqm and a maximum accommodation capacity of 700 beds. The area is divided into fourteen spatial units, with zones allocated for hotels, villas, common facilities, sport and recreation, and a beach area with berths.
In accordance with the Urban Development Plan, at least 40% of each spatial unit must be dedicated to landscaping and a further 10% to open sports and pool areas. The plan requires development to maintain high environmental standards and to ensure integration with the natural topography and coastal landscape. Infrastructure connections include electricity, telecommunications, water supply, and sewage systems, with new substations and road improvements required for full implementation.
The site is accessible by road from the north, connecting to the main island network and the mainland via the Trogir bridges. Most cadastral plots within the designated area are under ownership, with a limited number of additional parcels identified for acquisition to complete the planned resort scope. Revetas owns 75,225 sqm (7.5 ha) out of the total 8.97 ha covered by the zoning plan (PUZ).
