Oleksandr Usyk, World’s Heavyweight Champion, is coming to Warsaw next week to a Gala, auctioning off a private training session, in support of Ukraine
Warsaw, 16 August 2023- Oleksandr Usyk, the Heavyweight Champion of the World, is attending a Gala Evening & Auction with a Charity Goal in Warsaw on August 22 at Sheraton Grand Warsaw and is offering a private, one-to one training session for auction and 2 ringside tickets to the match on 26 August Usyk vs. Dubois, to help raising funds for Ukraine. Another boxing legend, Wladimir Klitschko, former heavyweight champion, will attend the event online, through a broadcasted transmission.
The Gala is taking place at Sheraton Grand Warsaw Ballroom at 19:00 CET and it gathers members of the business and real estate community in Poland, in addition to boxing enthusiasts worldwide. The 2012 Olympic Gold Medallist and The Unified, Undisputed, Undefeated Heavyweight Champion of the World, Oleksandr Usyk, will attend the Gala to personally thank the Polish community’s relentless efforts in supporting Ukrainians, prior to Ukraine’s Independence Day on 24 August and the great match against Dubois on August 26 in Wrocław. The list of unique auctioned items include a pair of signed gloves by Mr. Usyk, a very rare Wladimir Klitschko’s signature loudspeaker in the shape of a boxing championship belt, the actual hand print of Wladimir Klitschko and other rare collection items from Ukraine. All proceeds from the auction held during the Gala will be directed to the two Ukrainian foundations, the Usyk Foundation and the Klitschko Foundation, to assist their humanitarian projects. Several members of Ukrainian government or the business community in Poland are expected to be confirmed as speakers at the event.

The upcoming match Usyk vs. Dubois on August 26 in Wrocławis estimated to have a live audience of 43,000 people and millions to watch the broadcasted match worldwide. The ringside tickets for the match are sold out but companies willing to sponsor the Gala can gain 2 VIP area tickets with back stage access – subject to availability or auction for 2 ringside tickets.
The event is organized by Nikdymo Sports and Cultural Development together with sponsors and partners, amongst which Immo Lab, Revetas Capital, Patron Capital, Sheraton, TriGranit, Biznis Boxing Polska, EuropaProperty, CEEQA and CERES Management Services.
Klitschko Foundation aims to help children to discover their potential and bring their dreams to life, whereas the Usyk Foundation focuses on supporting Ukrainian citizens affected by the war and covering their needs.
About Nikdymo
Nikdymo is a charitable organisation that supports awareness and development via sports and cultural events. The organization was originally established in 2004 to host Hockey Hall of fame legends playing in a series of charitable exhibition matches in Slovakia. Nikdymo combined support for the legends of hockey world All Stars vs Slovak All Stars, with the proceeds from the games going towards providing hockey gear for disadvantaged children.
The first match in December 4, 2004 was coached by legendary hockey player and coach Stan Mikita, Peter Stastny, Slava Fetisov, Igor Larionov, Zdeno Ciger, Bernie Ferderko and several other legends. Subsequent charitable matches in 10 December 2005 and 7 December 2006 included World All Stars.
On 11 August 2007, a charity golf tournament was organised with Slovak legends Marian Hossa, Marian Gaborik, Pavol Demitra, Lubomir Visnovsky. On 30 September 2008 Nikdymo organised the first NHL exhibition game in Slovakia with the Tampa Bay Lightning vs HC Slovan Bratislava. On October 2, 2011 Nikdymo organised the NHL exhibition game between the New York Rangers vs HC Slovan Bratislava.
In 2021 Nikdymo facilitated charity donations for the Klitschko Foundation. On August 22, 2023 Nikdymo is organizing a charity gala for The Usyk Foundation and Klitschko Foundation.
